POPPY RIP 1992 - 2006

I would like to take a few moments to honor the fabulous Poppy.

Poppy by name and nature, to me you are a breath of fresh air as we journey through the countryside,

together we have had many joys and many sorrows, we have broken many a national spreed limit but have saved many hedgehoggs on a busy road.

You have been smashed dented and have carried many heavy loads. Im sorry to let you go and be squashed to death by a big ugly machine (for a lousy£25 quid) but life does go on and a new balck renault clio awaits. Dont be sad poppy, I will always love you and will never forget how special you are. Im sorry for always running the petrol into red, im sorry for filling your insides with mcdonalds rubbish, ribena bottles and candy wrappers. Thankyou for lasting such a long time.

To end I quote a much loved song by the spice girls entitled 'Goodbye my friend'

Goodbye my friend (I know you're gone, you said you're gone, but I can still feel you here)

It's not the end (gotta keep it strong before the painturns into fear)

So glad we made it, time will never change itNo no no no

You know it's time to say goodbye

No no no no

Goodbye Poppy

anyone who has ever had the pleasure of riding in Poppy, please leave a comment in memory of the car which has brought so much happiness to our lives

You were there when I nearly got arressted for illegally driving you... You were there for me to drive you in Tesco's car park. Poppy I will miss you, I will miss the stightly stale smell you had and the pee seat.
An ever reliable friend and a always a slighly unsafe journey!
Have fun car heaven - say hello to the citeron while you're up there (tell him I miss him)

Poppy, you and i were destined to have a closer relationship, alas, it was not to be, i shall keep my car key as a memory of you.

Poppy was a brave girl, dispite what people threw at her or wrote on her, or how many times people jumped on top of her, she still carried on. She reached 102000 before she finally gave up, half of these miles were probably unnecessary and a result of hannah getting lost, but Poppy never complained!

Thanks for the memories, the adventures, the late night trips to tesco and the lifts to work every sunday morning!
